Tred Barta
As the personal fly fishing guide for Tred Barta we spent hundreds of hours fishing together, traveling and making each other laugh. We landed some pretty awesome fish along the way too. Whether it was a quiet pond, a fly fishing resort or one of the many veteran events we attended where we cast our lines together Tred's fine touch with light bamboo rods is unmatched.

I had the chance to guide the extremely talented artist C.D. Clarke. His paintings have graced the covers of fine literature as well as the walls of museums and prominent personal collections throughout the world. We were fishing the Hooked on a Cure celebrity event in Vail, Colorado when I made a call to allow us Private Property access to trophy size Brook Trout. He had not caught Brookies like this in the lower 48 states. Painted up in their fall hues the red, green and yellow colors made for some handsome fish and exceptional photos.

Luck brought me a fantastic day of fly fishing with T.V. host of Fishing Across America, Dave Maynard.
Sid, the gentleman in the floppy hat, was an 84 year old angler who spent the day fly fishing with the two of us as the successful recipient of a Hooked on a Cure winning auction bid. His antics kept Dave and me laughing all afternoon. He even insisted on me placing the chair IN the river where he could sit and cast. Sid managed to hook and land a small brown trout from his fishing chair. Dave is the host of two series Fishing Across America and Fish the Baja.
